but words can never hurt me.
For the hurtful words have been said so long,
all feeling hath desert me.
Whence the words began,
twas a dagger plunged into my chest,
for thy words sent the knife
turning,
turning,
turning
in my breast.
So now there's a hollow, empty hole
and you tried to pull the dagger out,
but too late,
the damage done,
tis fiction in the saying no doubt.
I love it Alice!!!! :D
ReplyDelete...the only thing... maybe I'd cut out the word into (my chest)and just leave it "... in my chest"
...and leave out, and (you tried to...) -maybe leave it "you tried to pull the dagger out,"
